采用热气枪(HGT)辅助自动铺纤(AFP)技术原位制造热塑性复合材料,通过避免高压釜固化等二次工艺,具有高效制造层板的潜力。AFP技术的优势在于能够实现纤维路径转向和变角度纤维(VAT)层板的制造,这类层板已被证实具有更优的力学性能。本研究采用HGT辅助AFP设备,系统研究了影响碳纤维增强热塑性带材(AS4/聚醚醚酮)转向工艺的参数。通过观察和测试,调查了转向半径、铺纤速度、重复铺覆次数和基体角度对转向带材几何形状和粘结强度的影响。设计了改进型搭接剪切试验方法,用于研究转向带材与基体间的粘结强度,并与高压釜处理样品(参考样品)进行了对比。研究结果表明:随着带材转向半径的减小,带材宽度减小,厚度增加;在较高铺纤速度下,转向诱发缺陷显著降低,缺陷呈间歇性分布,而低铺纤速度下缺陷连续分布;对转向带材进行重复铺覆可以平滑部分转向引起的带材缺陷;转向带材的搭接剪切强度与铺纤速度和基体角度相关。该研究为HGT辅助AFP工艺制造高性能变角度纤维层板提供了重要的工艺参数指导。
