声超声复合换能器(AUCTs)由压电陶瓷材料和增强聚合物基体组成,在复合材料结构的结构健康监测中具有应用前景。将AUCTs集成到高载荷热塑性复合材料上存在挑战,特别是对于聚芳醚酮等低表面能材料。本研究探索了利用超声焊接技术将AUCTs附着到低熔点聚芳醚酮碳纤维增强热塑性复合材料结构上的可行性。该焊接工艺在界面材料与AUCT埋入体和结构基体之间形成融合接头,提供了可靠且可自动化的工艺流程。研究包括对配备外部能量导向器的超声焊接接头与采用真空袋装烘箱工艺集成的参考AUCT系统的对比分析。结果表明,通过超声焊接集成的AUCT配置作为替代方案具有潜力,同时指出了在结构健康监测应用中进一步发展和提高可靠性所面临的挑战。
