圆形超声焊枪在热塑性复合材料焊接中的应用研究

连续超声焊接是热塑性复合材料结构焊接的一种有吸引力的技术。该工艺采用与压电换能器和压力机相连的金属超声焊枪,沿待焊部件移动,在焊接搭接处施加超声振动和静态焊接力。现有研究主要采用平面接触超声焊枪,这限制了该工艺仅能用于焊接方向无曲率的搭接。为评估该工艺是否可应用于曲面结构,本研究探索了采用圆形超声焊枪进行热塑性复合材料连续超声焊接的可行性。研究结果表明:采用圆形超声焊枪可以实现热塑性复合材料面板的连续焊接,并获得高质量焊缝。圆形超声焊枪的优势在于可降低焊接界面及被焊件内部的温度。然而,采用圆形焊枪会导致焊接速度下降(虽仍具竞争力)且可能增加焊接力,这些因素需在具体应用中予以考虑。研究为扩展超声焊接工艺在复杂曲面结构中的应用提供了技术依据。
