本研究调查了纤维束间隙、搭接和褶皱缺陷对动态加载条件下铺纤复合材料层板压缩强度的影响。这些铺层缺陷位于24层准各向同性层板(堆积顺序为[45/0/–45/90]3S)的0°纤维方向内。研究考虑了缺陷的不同位置,即层板底部(第2层)、中部(第10层)和顶部(第23层)。采用分离式Hopkinson压杆(SHPB)对无缺陷和含嵌入缺陷的复合材料进行了高应变率压缩实验。实验结果用于确定由于铺层缺陷存在导致的纤维床压实引起的局部层板形态变化所造成的强度下降。实验结果表明面内强度的各向异性与沉积缺陷方向相一致。层板内缺陷位置(即底部、中部或顶部)对残余强度无显著影响。基于固化缺陷微米级计算机断层扫描的形态学分析表明,强度下降的主要原因是0°层脱落、相邻90°和45°层中的纤维错位,以及在0°层锥形部分的角落处、+45°和–45°层板之间形成的富树脂区域。本研究表明局部形态层板变化在高应变率加载条件下对复合材料强度的影响作用增大,这在复合材料设计中应予以重视。
