连续超声焊接(CUW)是一种利用高频超声振动连接热塑性复合材料的制造工艺。在压力和振动作用下,焊接材料升温熔融,焊接件在冷却过程中实现连接。近十年来,随着热塑性复合材料(TCs)在生产工业特别是航空航天领域的应用需求增加,对经济高效的快速连接技术的需求日益迫切,CUW工艺的发展受到广泛关注。为了在工业中推广该焊接技术,需要开发对所生成焊缝进行质量保证的方法。本研究通过实验评估了热测量技术在热塑性复合材料超声焊接质量保证中的应用潜力。对多种热测量系统进行了对比评估,阐述了最具应用前景的技术数据如何进一步处理并输入人工智能(AI)算法。所训练的神经网络用于预测实验室剪切强度值,平均绝对误差低于1 MPa。研究结果表明,热成像技术是实现CUW热塑性复合材料焊接过程可靠质量保证的重要手段,有助于推动该焊接技术在工业中的进一步应用。
