丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯(ABS)和聚苯乙烯(PS)是多功能热塑性塑料,广泛应用于汽车内饰件、消费电子产品外壳、家用和医疗产品以及轻质包装结构等工程领域。ABS具有优异的耐冲击性和耐久性,而PS具有较高的刚性。本研究系统调查了不同工具针脚几何形状和工艺参数对搅拌摩擦焊(FSW)异种热塑性塑料ABS与PS焊缝组织和力学性能的影响。采用两种工具针脚形状——螺纹圆柱形(TC)和螺纹三角形(TT),肩部直径均为21 mm,针脚长度均为3.7 mm,在不同工艺参数条件下进行焊接,包括焊接速度(9、18、27 mm/min)和转速(800、900、1100 rpm)。结果表明,TC工具性能优于TT工具,在900 rpm和18 mm/min条件下获得最优性能:抗拉强度(UTS)达24.5 MPa,邵氏D硬度为83.6,伸长率为5%。相比之下,TT工具虽然所需热量和搅拌作用较少,焊缝外观更光滑,但力学强度较低(最高强度仅为18.98 MPa,对应工艺参数为900 rpm和27 mm/min)。研究表明TC几何形状能提供更好的材料流动和结合效果,更适合于高强度热塑性塑料接头的制备。
