天然纤维与常规材料复合材料在硬质防弹装甲中的应用:对比研究

天然纤维增强聚合物复合材料因其可持续性优势和相比芳纶、超高分子量聚乙烯(UHMWPE)等传统合成纤维的低成本特点,近年来作为防弹装甲新材料备受关注。本研究对UHMWPE复合材料(商品名Dyneema)与30 vol%菠萝叶纤维(PALF)/环氧树脂复合材料在硬质防弹装甲系统中的防弹性能进行了对比。该硬质装甲系统旨在通过引入PALF复合材料板,为采用凯夫拉纤维制造的传统IIIA级防弹背心提供额外防护,有效将防弹等级提升至III级。该防护等级使防弹装甲能够安全抵御更高威胁的射弹,如7.62 mm口径步枪弹药。研究结果表明,采用陶瓷前层与PALF/环氧复合材料后层的硬质装甲系统满足美国司法部(NIJ)国际标准的III级防护要求,其防弹性能与常用于防弹背心的Dyneema板相当。该研究为天然纤维复合材料在防弹防护领域的应用提供了有力支持。
