基体树脂特性对真空辅助树脂传递模塑工艺制备平纹碳纤维增强复合材料断裂行为的影响

采用声发射(AE)技术研究了碳纤维增强复合材料(CFRP)的微观失效和损伤演化过程。本研究对真空辅助树脂传递模塑(VARTM)工艺制备的平纹CFRP和纯环氧树脂在拉伸试验中进行了声发射测量,以评估失效模式。选用四种环氧树脂作为基体树脂,研究了基体树脂特性对CFRP微观损伤行为和力学性能的影响。研究结果表明:沿纤维方向的CFRP的力学性能与基体树脂类型无关,性能相当;而对于45°等非沿纤维方向的CFRP,脆性基体树脂导致拉伸强度显著降低。声发射测量结果显示,CFRP的累积声发射事件数远高于纯树脂,这是由于纤维/基体界面裂纹的产生;CFRP的声发射波信号持续时间长于纯树脂,并阐明了信号持续时间与断裂模式之间的关联规律。研究成果为优化VARTM工艺中基体树脂的选择提供了理论依据。
